BOARD OF DIRECTORS

World Christian Broadcasting is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board is a diverse group: men and women from six states, varying backgrounds, diverse professions; but all of them united in their love for reaching out to the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. These people serve at their own expense to give counsel and direction to the staff.

Dr. John Tyson

"World Christian Broadcasting is on the threshold of an unprecedented opportunity - the power to make God's Word available to a vast majority of the world's population. Shortwave technology is evaporating the mam-made barriers designed to limit the access of entire nations to truth of all kinds. WCB has the God-centered personnel, experience, technology and relationships required for success."

Mark Willoughby
Secretary-Treasurer of the Board

Partner, Capital Trust Wealth Management, Franklin, Tennessee

"I believe that World Christian Broadcasting has an open door to deliver the gospel to the entire world, and is equipped to do so in the most effective manner possible."

Chuck Allen

"I became involved with World Christian Broadcasting because I felt that this organization offered the best opportunity to service the world and individuals with the message of Christ in the shortest amount of time and in areas that cannot be reached or affected by missionaries in our lifetime."

Dr. George Bridges

Dentist. Board of Directors, First Bank of Elton, Oklahoma. Charter board member, World Christian Broadcasting.

"If we are ever to reach the world for Christ, this is a proven way. Nearly everyone on God's planet will soon be able to hear the word of Jesus preached. This effort is certainly the 21st century Pearl of Great Price in world evangelism (Matt 13:46). World Christian Broadcasting is not talking about it - we're doing it!"

Dr. Frank Harrell

Dentist.  Investments.

"From the day that Maurice Hall introduced me to World Christian Broadcasting, I have believed that this effort is our best approach to reach the world's souls. Shortwave radio gives us fantastic abilities, and our messages are thoughtful and effective."

“World Christian Broadcasting is, to me, a unique and effective way of bringing God’s message to the world. I believe we get more in return for the money spent than in any other similar organization.”

Dr. Dan Davidson

Medical Doctor, Family Practice, Searcy, Arkansas

"Jesus said in Luke 12 that blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it. In all my many decades as a Christian physician and missionary, I know of no other work that can spread the word of God as fast and as widely as the work done at World Christian Broadcasting!"

Jerry L. Denman

"My experience as a West Point graduate and career Army officer confirmed what I learned as a child in Bible school -- that the world's greatest need is for the gospel of Jesus Christ. World Christian Broadcasting has the faith, vision, compassion, technology, and skills to reach the whole world with the gospel in our generation. This common cause shared by staff, board and donors drew me to serve on the staff for twelve years and now to serve on the board."

Deane Pigg

District Sales Manager, Cold Metal Products, Youngstown, Ohio

"The ministry of World Christian Broadcasting gently persuades people of diverse cultures to accept Christ as Lord and Savior, and accept His gospel.
I am happy and privileged to serve with dedicated board members and outstanding staff."

J. Lee Powell

Chairman, Old Hickory Clay Company, Paducah, Kentucky

"Sharon and I support WCB because we believe that we have a responsibility to 'make a difference' in this world. Although we stay busy in our family and professional lives at home, we want to actively support a ministry that is actually making things happen in global evangelism, not just talking the talk. We believe that WCB is doing just that. The Indian Ocean project will allow the gosepl to be broadcast into most of the areas of the world that have previously been unreachable for this ministry. We are especially interested in the specific work of broadcasting directly into predominantly Muslim countries in their native tongue the good news about Jesus Christ where politcal and physical barriers have severly limited its presentation up until now..."

David Ralston

Past President, Tom’s Sales, Memphis, Tennessee.  Board of Directors, Lipscomb University.  Advisory Board, Global Christian University.  Past President, S. R. Services

"I was elected to World Christian's board of directors in 2001. The world changed in September of that year, but World Christian's mission has not changed. Our commitment to reach unsaved people with the gospel of Jesus remains as strong as the day this ministry was born."

Doug Sanders

Administrative Minister, Otter Creek Church of Christ, Brentwood, Tennessee

"I am honored and blessed to be able to serve on the board of World Christian Broadcasting.
