To listen to KNLS on a shortwave radio, see the schedule below. Our shortwave antennas are in Anchor Point, Alaska, with the signal directed toward Russia, China, and the Pacific Rim. Occasionally the signal can be heard in other parts of the world (we have received mails from every country in the world), but reception in non-target areas will likely be faint and unreliable.
Some shortwave receivers even in the United States and Canada can occasionally pick up our broadcasts. To attempt to listen, see the chart below. Shortwave schedules are based on Universal Time (UTC), otherwise known as Greenwich Mean Time, or the time in London. To simplify the time conversion, we have included a reference chart for four Standard Time Zones for our United States friends.
Note: These times do not reflect the use of Daylight Savings Time. To learn more about the world clock, visit http://www.timeticker.com.
