2023 has been a very busy year so far with 40-year celebrations, a successful annual spring fundraising lunch/dinner, and a few staff changes sprinkled in throughout the year. We celebrated 40 years of broadcasting from KNLS in Anchor Point, Alaska with the Franklin, TN staff and the Alaska staff. Kevin and Nancy Chambers, long time leaders in our ministry for 40 years, spoke at our Alaska gathering of staff and friends during the celebration of this milestone. Ed Short and Charles Caudill spoke to a gathering here in Franklin.
Our annual spring fundraising lunch and dinner brought many to our tables. We had approximately 250 people at each meal. Mark your calendars for our next lunch and dinner on April 25, 2024, here in Franklin.
Bryan Basham joined our staff in July and will serve as our Executive Vice President. Many of you will meet Bryan and Sue Erwin as they make visits to your area.
We were humbled and excited to begin Korean broadcasts into North Korea, January 1, 2023. The North Korean government has tried to block our signal into their country, but they have not been successful. We believe we have many listeners there who are blessed with positive messages of hope and encouragement.
We will have our second annual “Walk4Water” to help areas with wells in Madagascar going through drought and famine. Join us in Franklin at the Bicentennial Park with organizing a team of family, friends, and church family members. Our walk will be on Saturday, September 30th. Click here for more details.
