“… just as Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness, know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘In you all the nations be blessed.’ So then, those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.” (Gal. 3: 6-9)

Abraham is well regarded by different religions and various cultures as being a man of faith and the father of believers. It is easy for us to admire him as we have the advantage of knowing the end of the story. However, have you thought about Abraham’s daily life there and then… his wondering about the unknown… his struggle to make tough decisions… his regret for the mistakes he made… his human nature like you and me!

Our new drama “Journey of a Promise” takes our listeners back in time thousands of years to live with Abraham day to day; to hear his conversations with his father Terah, his wife Sarah and his nephew Lot; to hear his inner thoughts and prayers; to feel his pain and his joy. Arabic audience love drama more than any other type of programming. The actor who recorded the epilogue broke down in tears because, as he put it, “I’ve never felt anything like that before!”

Please continue to pray for our programs that they may reach people where they are, touch their hearts, and open their eyes.
