A Special Time of Life in the Family

Shu-Mei welcomed her first grandchild, Ethan, who was born on July 27th. A time to celebrate God’s blessings to the Lee’s family. Shu-Mei spent a few weeks with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. We are truly happy for her and with her. While she was in California attending to the needs of the family, Shu-Mei was able to upload Chinese Bible Reading log and daily program into the Chinese website with her computer, plus to provide scripts recorded by two stringers for our website. Thanks very much to her work ethics and Kok Hai’s technical support.

Edward’s Mom, Ann Ho, passed from this life on August 18th. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her husband, sons, and daughters-in-law. Ann was eighty-eight years old, born in Jiangsu, China, and immigrated to the United States in 1996. She played a significant role in preparing Edward to the service at World Christian Broadcasting. I am grateful for Salina’s service and love for Mom, which made it much easier for me to attend to the programming needs while trying to take care of Mom’s physical and emotional needs. We are especially appreciative for the full support of our colleagues at WCB in Franklin. They made it possible for us to assist Dad in blessing Mom with a peaceful closure. We thank God for your love for us, and we love you all.

A Challenging Time in the World

The Covid Pandemic and the War in Ukraine generate so many challenges around the globe. At a time when international relationships are under tremendous pressure, we genuinely have the best interests in mind for leaders of all nations. No one could sense how stressful it is to be the national leader of China, Russia, Ukraine, and the United States. We pray for blessings to them, from God. We respect them and their policies. Our program reflects our respect to them. We do not talk about politics in our program, none to speak of, any critical remarks on leaders. Our listeners appreciate this attitude. They find peace in listening to our program and in visiting our website, and they are encouraged to return. We thank God for reminding loyal listeners to keep connected, and we pray to God for guiding new listeners to our radio program and our website. Please pray along with us.

Concerning programming need, please pray that God prepares more volunteers and stringers to assist with our programming. Listeners deserve quality program. We are on the frontline introducing God to listeners. To encourage listeners to think and to stay engaged, fresh new quality programs are very crucial. Your prayers are needed. God can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine through the power that is at work within us. Thank you for your prayer and involvement in this ministry of yours and mine.
