Generosity is not an occasional act; it is a way of living. Some of the most giving people that our radio ministry relies on are those who are actively involved with following up with our radio listeners. We just received a report of several Christians in Cuba that are giving of their time and energy to visit and meet with La Voz Alegre (The Happy Voice) listeners.
Most of our respondents in Cuba write directly to the church of Christ P.O. Box in Havana. Then the response of the concerned Christians goes into action as they call, write, and personally visit our radio listeners. Roberto in Havana, Guillermo in Bayamo, Tony in Matanzas, and Christians in Ciego de Avila are all fellow workers in this coordinated effort. All of these Christians, and more give of themselves every day and are making an eternal difference in the lives and souls of people listening across Cuba.
People who give of themselves are the most generous individuals as they have an eternal impact on others. We want to be people who are to be “always generous and lend freely” (Psalm 37:23-26). The Lord delights in us when we live like that! You may hit problems and stumble as you share your faith, time, and money, but you will not fall. God’s problem is to “bless you and your children.” So let’s generous and share the message of Christ!
