World Christian Broadcasting resumed full broadcast April 20. I missed communicating with our listeners, but I am glad we are back on Africanpathways radio and the internet. We are on trying times of uncertainty, and as we take it one day at a time, God of Heaven, the creator of the universe, is in control. We pray that God keeps you, your family, and friends to be safe throughout this period of the coronavirus epidemic. May you remain healthy and be of good courage. Please, continue to observe social distancing and stay isolated as much as you can.

We are monitoring the coronavirus situations throughout sub-Saharan African, and we are impressed at the activities of most governmental organizations that are put in charge of the testings as the results so far are in low numbers compared to the Western hemispheres. We pray that the numbers we see daily are contending and that not many lives will not be lost in the continent. Our sympathy to all the families that have lost loved ones as a result of the coronavirus epidemic. We pray for comfort, strength, and the power of God to rest upon the family members and bring peace to them in Jesus’ name, Amen.

There were eight weeks of lockdown in our part of the United States of America, and it was the most challenging moment for many of us who never knew how to stay at home for many hours during the day. It was also time to humble ourselves, watch the power of the Almighty God play out and experience God’s might where no single individual, no matter how highly placed, could challenge. Looking at the positive side, we used the period of lockdown to reminisce and to reflect. It was also a time of prayer and meditation. Please remember that we were not on lockdown because we were sick, not because we had no means of transportation to go out, not because a court system restricted us as a result of breaking the law, but because one unseen virus commanded us the world over to stay back in our homes unless we wanted to die. We all obeyed the coronavirus. The lockdown revealed that every one of us, irrespective of our worldly standard of wealth, education, culture, religion, and tradition, really does not want to die. Yes, we all want to live, and that is why we obeyed the lockdown. If life on earth is so precious and valuable, what about our experience with God in Heaven.

The coronavirus epidemic is not over, and as we continue to live in a world of uncertainty, God is supreme. World Christian Broadcasting is back on the air, and the internet, and we shall resume writing to our listeners. Please keep the faith. May God bless and keep you. Amen
